Katie Fox, M.A.

Title: Learning Management Coordinator

Katie Fox came to The Strategies Center in September 2012 and has been in her role as Learning Management Coordinator since November 2015. Katie’s work is focused on managing the Relias Learning Management System (LMS), which provides learning and development resources, original content, and creating interactive e-learning on a variety of topics related to children and families. She is a Level 2 administrator for Relias LMS and is constantly searching and expanding her knowledge and skills in the area of Relias administration and e-learning development. Prior to Strategies Center, Katie worked as an Assistant Teacher in the Child Development Center at The Esplanade House, a transitional housing program for homeless families through the Community Action Agency of Butte County, and as a tutor of foster and homeless youth through the Butte County Office of Education’s School Ties Program. Her prior experience in the education of at-risk children and youth, as well as several years of experience with writing, research, data entry, and creating training manuals and handouts, all help Katie in her current role.

Katie received a Master of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in Family and Community Services from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Humanities in 2011 from California State University, Chico.

In her free time, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her family.
