Project-Based Learning

Are there projects you haven’t been able to fit into your schedule?

The Strategies Center’s project-based learning workshops are organized around a particular project. Attendees become directors and managers of their learning process, guided and mentored by a skilled facilitator. Workshops include learning about tools, skills, and techniques related to the project, practice using those resources, and sharing ideas and expertise with peers. Most importantly, attendees leave with a draft plan or final product ready for agency review and implementation. Project-based learning workshops are designed for agency teams to attend and learn together.

Currently available project-based learning sessions include:

  • Creating an Outreach Plan

  • Developing an Agency Cultural Proficiency Plan

  • Developing an Agency Self-Care Plan

  • Effective Performance Evaluations

  • The Fast Pitch: Telling Your Story in 3 Minutes or Less

  • Building a Funding Allocation Spreadsheet

  • Building a Staff Allocation Spreadsheet

The Strategies Center can also build customized workshops specific to your needs.
